"In June as in September, the Vendée coast offers the ideal setting for a week as a couple . TakeTake the time to cycle along the oceanfront, escape to the Marais Breton Vendéen, try land sailing, visit Noirmoutier or Île d'Yeu, savor a sunset, stroll through markets or meet local producers. That's what a week for two in the Vendée is all about: a whole region to explore at your own pace, between nature, local flavors and special moments together.

📢 Event not to be missed: The walking festival!

Whether you prefer hiking or a leisurely stroll, alone or with a guide, Nordic or aquatic activities can be enjoyed in all seasons in the Saint Jean de Monts region.

The unmissable highlights of this late summer:

• Caval' Océane on September 26th and 27th: equestrian shows, demonstrations on the beach, rides and closing the season with a fireworks display.
• The children's festival "Ci t'as la trouille" runs from October 17th to November 1st. Book all your children's favorite activities online (exhibition, creative and sports activities, costume ball, etc.).

Second stay at Hélène's. Just as pleasant as the first time. Our room with a mezzanine allowed us to stay with our two little girls. They found Hélène to be a very attentive host. An ideal location for exploring the Vendée region from north to south, thanks to our hostess's advice, and close to the beaches of St Jean de Monts.

Top-notch bedding.
The living space with the veranda is a place for interaction where you can make friends.
The proof is that we met a Belgian couple and we are now friends and we plan to see each other again next year.

Cycling paradise!

The area is full of places to explore. Nature lovers will find plenty to enjoy among a wide variety of walks, accessible to all levels, in all seasons, on foot or by bike, in the heart of the state forest, on coastal paths by the ocean or in the marshes.

Facilities have been installed throughout the area to promote cycling, such as tire inflation stations, picnic areas, bicycle parking , and information maps. To top it all off, cycle tourists benefit from a special welcome and tailored services. This is all part of the "Accueil Vélo" (Cyclist Welcome) program, implemented by the local authority in partnership with numerous tourism professionals.

At our guest house Cale 32, I am pleased to offer our guests a secure outdoor bicycle area. You have the option of bringing your own bikes, renting mountain bikes or even renting electric bikes through our service providers.
You will enjoy beautiful and safe rides on the Vélodyssée and also take advantage of the Vendée Vélo loops to discover the Pays de Saint Jean de Monts.
