170 km of cycle paths throughout the region

The Pays de Monts network of cycle paths covers more than 170 km, 70 km of which are exclusive right-of-way, offering greater safety.

A number of facilities have been set up throughout the region to encourage cycling, including filling stations, picnic areas, bicycle parking and information maps. To complete the picture, cycle tourists are offered a special welcome and tailored services. This is part of the Accueil vélo scheme set up by the local authority in partnership with tourism professionals.

We are pleased to offer our travellers a secure outdoor cycle parking area. You can bring your own bikes, hire mountain bikes or even hire electric bikes through our service providers.

You'll be able to enjoy some great rides in complete safety on the Vélodyssée and also take advantage of the Vendée Vélo loops to discover the Saint Jean de Monts region.
